As an ACCA member, it's mandatory to do relevant CPD every year to ensure you maintain and develop the knowledge and skills to succeed in today's dynamic and demanding business environment.
All ACCA members* must complete CPD on an annual basis and submit a declaration each year to confirm they have met their requirements.
* Members on the register of lifetime members are not required to undertake CPD or submit an annual CPD declaration.
* New members must start completing CPD from 1 January, the year after being admitted to membership. So if you were admitted to membership in 2024, your CPD requirement began in 2025 with your 2025 CPD declaration due by 1 January 2026.
Your CPD declaration must be submitted via the Professional Development section of your myACCA account. You can visit our dedicated pages on CPD for further guidance.
If you haven't been able to meet your CPD requirement, then you may be eligible to apply for a CPD waiver which you can apply for within the Professional Development section of your myACCA account.
Our CPD policy complies with International Education Standard (IES) 7 issued by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) of which ACCA is a member.
