What is RPES? 

The Remote Practical Experience Supervisor (RPES) programme helps ACCA affiliates who cannot find a qualified supervisor in their workplace. Through this programme, ACCA members volunteer to review practical experience and sign off performance objectives remotely. This ensures affiliates can complete their Practical Experience Requirement (PER) and progress towards membership. 

 

Why is RPES important? 

RPES benefits everyone involved: 

  • Affiliates – Gain access to qualified supervisors and complete PER even if their workplace does not have one. 

  • Supervisors – Share expertise, support future finance professionals, and develop coaching skills. 

  • Employers – Help staff achieve ACCA membership without additional complexity. 

 

How does it work? 

  • ACCA matches affiliates with volunteer supervisors based on experience and availability. 

  • Supervisors review work experience and confirm performance objectives remotely. 

  • Employers remain involved to ensure workplace experience is accurate and relevant.
